Minor surgery

Do you wonder if a mole or a little bump on your skin could be cancer? If so, please see your doctor without delay. The doctor may decide the mole is suspicious enough that it should be removed and examined by a pathologist. Such a removal of a suspicious mole is fully covered by the Medical Services Plan.

On the other hand, there are several types of moles and blemishes that are never cancerous and your doctor can usually recognize them easily. These moles can still be unsightly and you may want to have them removed. However, such a cosmetic removal would not be covered by MSP and must be paid for privately.

Dr Ciszak has extensive experience and a special interest in minor skin surgery. The clinic has all the necessary facilities to perform these procedures safely and painlessly.
